Itinerary:
Day 1: Kathmandu
Meet at the airport and transfer to a 4-star hotel. Relax and attend a briefing about the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Kathmandu
Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Patan Durbar Square. Prepare for the trek.
Day 3: Fly Manthali to Lukla; Trek to Phakding
Private transit to Manthali and then take a scenic flight to Lukla and start trekking to Phakding, passing charming landscapes and villages.
Day 4: Phakding - Namche Bazaar
Trek through pine forests, cross suspension bridges, and enjoy stunning views of Kusum Kangaru on your way to the vibrant Sherpa town of Namche.
Day 5: Acclimatization in Namche
Spend the day acclimatizing with short hikes, including an optional visit to Everest View Hotel and the Sherpa Museum.
Day 6: Namche Bazaar - Tengboche
Trek through enchanting rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche Monastery, surrounded by panoramic mountain views.
Day 7: Tengboche - Dingboche
Pass through alpine meadows with spectacular views of Ama Dablam and other peaks as you ascend to Dingboche.
Day 8: Acclimatization in Dingboche
Take a hike to nearby ridges, offering fantastic views and essential acclimatization for the climb ahead.
Day 9: Dingboche - Chhukung
Trek to the quaint village of Chhukung, nestled amidst towering peaks, and make final preparations for the climb.
Day 10: Chhukung - Island Peak Base Camp
Ascend to the Island Peak Base Camp, where you’ll camp overnight and prepare for the summit.
Day 11: Island Peak Summit - Chhukung
Climb to the summit of Island Peak for breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Descend to Chhukung for a well-deserved rest.
Day 12: Chhukung – Pangboche
Descend through alpine valleys with fantastic views to reach Pangboche.
Day 13: Pangboche – Namche Bazaar
Enjoy a scenic return journey to Namche with glimpses of familiar peaks.
Day 14: Trek to Lukla
Your final trekking day retraces the route back to Lukla.
Day 15: Fly to Manthali – Drive to Kathmandu
Take a morning flight from Lukla to Manthali, then drive to Kathmandu and check into your hotel.
Day 16: Leisure Day in Kathmandu (Buffer Day)
Relax, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a spa day. This spare day also helps buffer any weather-related delays. Accommodation included.
Day 17: Final Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Farewell and thank you for trekking with us!
