Itinerary:
Day 1: Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Kathmandu's airport, you will be personally greeted by our representative and enjoy a seamless transfer to your hotel. After settling in, you'll attend a welcome briefing to review the exciting details of your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Drive to Manthali & fly to Lukla; Trek to Phakding.
Your day starts with an early morning drive to Manthali Airport (a peak season requirement). From there, you'll take the spectacular 35-minute flight into Lukla, perched high in the mountains. After landing in the gateway to the Everest region, your trek officially begins. You'll descend through lush landscapes and charming villages, following the Dudh Koshi River to your first overnight stop in Phakding.

Day 3: Phakding - Namche Bazaar
Trek through enchanting pine forests and cross thrilling suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. Arrive at Namche Bazaar, the bustling heart of the Khumbu region.

Spend a day adjusting to the altitude with short hikes around Namche. Visit the famous Everest View Hotel for panoramic vistas of Everest and the surrounding peaks.

Day 5: Namche - Tengboche
Follow trails through rhododendron forests with majestic mountain views. Arrive at Tengboche, home to the iconic Tengboche Monastery, the spiritual heart of the region.

Day 10: Gorakshep - Kala Patthar; descend to Pheriche
Hike to Kala Patthar at sunrise for unparalleled views of Everest and the surrounding peaks. Begin your descent to the tranquil village of Pheriche.

Retrace your steps with a long descent, passing through Tengboche and lush landscapes, to return to the lively Namche Bazaar.

Complete your trek with a rewarding journey back to Lukla, reflecting on the incredible adventure.

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu
Your return journey to Kathmandu begins with a final spectacular mountain flight from Lukla to Manthali. From there, you will take a scenic drive back to the capital. Upon arrival and check-in at your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to relax, explore the city's vibrant streets, or celebrate the completion of your trek.

Day 14: Departure
It is time to say farewell to Nepal. We will transfer you to the airport for your flight home, hoping you leave with incredible memories of your Himalayan adventure.

A: While no technical climbing is involved, this trek is rated “challenging.” Prior hiking experience and good physical fitness are strongly recommended due to altitude and long walking days.

A: No. All Orienjo treks are private. You’ll travel only with your own group (couples, friends, or family). We do not group strangers together.
Q: Will I actually reach Everest Base Camp?
A: Yes. Day 9 includes a hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364m), returning to Gorakshep for the night.
Q: What’s the best time to do this trek?
A: The best seasons are March–May (spring) and September–November (autumn) for clear skies and ideal temperatures.
Q: What if my flight to Lukla is cancelled or delayed?
A: Our team closely monitors flight schedules. If needed, we’ll support you with alternate transport or adjusted itineraries.
Q: Will I have internet or mobile signal on the trek?
A: Limited signal and paid Wi-Fi are available in some villages (Namche, Dingboche). Full coverage is not guaranteed, so be prepared for digital disconnection.
Q: Are rest days included?
A: Yes. Days 4 (Namche) and 7 (Dingboche) are reserved for acclimatization and optional side hikes.
Q: Do I need to carry all my gear?
A: No. Your porter will carry up to 25kg (shared between two people). You’ll only need a small daypack for water, snacks, and essentials.
