Costa Rica has a tropical climate with two main seasons: dry season (Dec–Apr) and rainy season (May–Nov). Even during the dry season, some areas may experience rain, as well as sunny days are normal during the rainy season.


Bring a rain jacket, especially if traveling to rainforest areas.


Currency & Payments:
Costa Rican Colón (CRC) is the local currency, but US dollars and credit cards are widely accepted. Carry some cash for small purchases, tips, and rural areas. ATMs are available in major cities.


Safety & Travel Tips:
Costa Rica is generally safe, keep valuables secure and stay cautious in crowded areas.
